Get Nodded answers one question: when people ask AI about your category, does it recommend you? This tour walks through the platform the way you'll use it, from the first look at your numbers to the work that moves them.
Get Nodded has five areas, and they follow the order of the work. You measure where you stand in AI answers, check that AI engines can read your site, compare it with classic search, then publish content and earn mentions where the engines look.
| Area | What it answers | Screens |
|---|---|---|
| AI Visibility (GEO) | Do AI engines mention us, and who do they recommend instead? | Overview, Prompts, Responses, Citations |
| AI Crawler Analytics | Can AI bots reach and read our site? | Analytics, Logs, Readiness |
| SEO | How do we rank in Google, and does the AI Overview cite us? | Search analytics, Rankings, Page speed |
| AI Content | What should we publish to close the gaps? | Articles, LinkedIn |
| Reddit & Backlinks | Where else do we need to be mentioned? | Reddit, Backlinks |
The Overview is where you land. It shows your visibility score, how often AI answers mention your brand, alongside share of voice against competitors and a 0 to 100 sentiment score for how AI talks about you. Filter by engine, prompt tag and date range to see whether ChatGPT treats you differently from Google AI Overviews, AI Mode, Perplexity, Gemini or Copilot.
Get Nodded also discovers competitors you weren't tracking: brands that keep showing up in your answers.
Prompts are the questions you track, such as “best CRM for small agencies” or “HubSpot vs Pipedrive”. Each one runs one to four times a day depending on your plan. Group them with tags by product, persona or funnel stage, and see which prompts you win and which you miss.
Responses show every answer each engine gave, word for word, so you can read the context around a mention. Is it a recommendation, a passing reference or a warning?
AI answers are built on sources. Citations lists the pages and domains each engine relied on, sorted into review sites, editorial, social, reference and more. That's your target list: the places you need to be mentioned.
Query fan-out shows the searches ChatGPT ran behind the scenes while grounding its answer. Those are the exact queries you need to rank for.
A small SDK on your site reports visits from 32 AI crawlers, including GPTBot, OAI-SearchBot, ClaudeBot and PerplexityBot, grouped by what they do: training, search indexing or live fetching. Only matching AI crawler requests are sent, never human traffic.
The AI readiness audit crawls your site and checks eight areas: access, robots.txt, llms.txt, indexing, technical health, content, structure and discovery. Each issue explains why it matters and how to fix it, with a ready-to-paste prompt for your coding agent.
Connect Google Search Console to see clicks, impressions, CTR and position by query, page, country and device. Rankings shows the first page of Google for each tracked prompt, where you and each competitor rank, and whether the AI Overview cites you. Page speed adds Lighthouse scores and Core Web Vitals.
AI Content picks article topics from the prompts where you're missing, researches them with live Google Search and writes cited articles of 1,000 to 1,600 words in your brand's voice. Publish them straight to WordPress, Webflow, Shopify, Ghost, HubSpot, Contentful, Sanity, Strapi, Notion, GitHub, dev.to or any webhook, and turn them into LinkedIn posts.
Reddit & Backlinks finds the threads where people are choosing a product like yours, plus the sites that link to your competitors but not to you.
You don't need to learn every screen on day one. This order gets you from setup to your first real gaps in about a week:
Day 1: add your brand, your main competitors and your first prompts, and tag the prompts by type and product line.
Days 2 and 3: once the first runs are in, read the Responses for your most important prompts. Note where you're missing and how AI describes the competitors it picks instead.
Days 4 and 5: open Citations and query fan-out for the prompts you lose, and list the domains and searches that keep coming up.
Any time: add the crawler SDK and connect Google Search Console, so you can check AI crawler access and compare AI answers with your Google rankings.
End of the week: pick three gaps to work on, such as an article from AI Content, a Reddit thread to join, or a site from your link gap to contact.
Once you know the layout, most questions map to one screen:
| Question | Where to look |
|---|---|
| Are we mentioned more often than last month? | Overview: visibility score trend |
| Who does AI recommend instead of us? | Overview: share of voice |
| What exactly did ChatGPT or Perplexity say about us? | Responses |
| Which sites should we get mentioned on? | Citations |
| What did ChatGPT search for before answering? | Query fan-out |
| Is GPTBot or ClaudeBot reading our pricing page? | AI Crawler Analytics: Logs |
| Is anything stopping AI crawlers from reading our site? | AI Crawler Analytics: Readiness |
| Does the Google AI Overview cite us for this query? | SEO: Rankings |
| What should we publish next? | AI Content: Articles |
| Who links to our competitors but not to us? | Reddit & Backlinks: Backlinks |
Plans differ in how many brands and prompts you track, how many AI engines you cover, how often each prompt runs, and how much content you can generate. Every plan includes competitor share of voice, citations and sources, AI crawler analytics, AI readiness checks, Search Console insights, keyword rankings, page speed checks, backlink opportunities, Reddit threads and shareable reports.
